You might consider much of the work of the Cornell Creative Machines Lab to be a bit arcane, but I’m sure you’ll agree that it was a stroke of genius to allow two bots to have a conversation (well, at least attempt to have a conversation). Perhaps this experiment would have been more successful if the bot on the right had been in a better mood:

If bots are going to take over the world, they’re going to need to learn how to get along with each other first.
